    1. Uplifting story with plenty of laughterRead straight through. I really enjoyed the character interactions and the plot. I'd love a sequel to see what happens with Zane,Rob and Chacha.

    2. Some other review said this was a good idea but poor in execution. I would probably agree. The idea is cute, even sweet. Almost an interstellar Hallmark romance. However, the dialogue is wooden. Too many emotions expressed as part of the dialogue (Veronica snarked. Zane joked. Zane griped. The newly forged homeowner grunted.) Detracts from the dialogue. Too many descriptions (Zane tickles his adorable little relative). Perhaps let the reader decide whehter the relative is adorable (or annoying)? [...]

    3. Good Idea Bad ExecusionThis was an interesting idea but I think it has problems with writing choices and editing. The problem with editing is that there is non. There is no transition between scences and we don't always know which characters are talking. The problem with writing choices is that the auther is atributting earth culture to an alien culture. Example: "what on earth" was said by an alien that did not know what earth was. So in the end it was a good idea but no with the grattes of exc [...]

    4. A very enjoyable readA generally light hearted story about man who meets a robot, then meets a girl, has a tragic family incident, then gets chased by the government whilst attempting to prevent the rest of the tragedy from running its course, all under the umbrella official first contact with aliens. I can't say much more without spoilers. I would love to see this as either an animated movie or film.

    5. Read in one sitting. Well done, enjoyable and lovable characters. Loved the "Universe." Looking forward to book two, hopefully this isn't a standalone novel.

    6. refreshing,i found this book to be very refreshing, I really enjoyed reading it. Hope to read about Zane & Rob again.

    7. SuperbThis is the most fun book I've read in ages.Whilst a follow-up would be really great, I doubt it could have the same impact.

    8. a beta test vending bot gets lost and crashes on earth and one person finds it. the story keeps up a fast pace and has a good finish.
