    1. I NEED THE NEXT BOOK ASAP. I cannot believe how much fun that was -- I had a stupid grin on my face throughout most of it and just adore these characters so much. I thought I was kind of over vampire/paranormal YA stories last year until I found Velvet and totally loved it. These books are everything I want to see: strong female characters, non-abusive relationships, hilariously realistic dialogue, a wide range of female friendships that pass the Bechdel test, a bunch of unique characters I care [...]

    2. (I received an advance copy of this book for free. Thanks to In Medias Res and NetGalley.)This was a YA paranormal romance story featuring vampires.Caitlin was an okay character in this, although it was a shame that she and Adrian had to spend so much of the book apart from each other. She seemed to be really passionate about her fashion designing though, and put a lot of effort into that part of her life. The storyline in this was about Caitlin going to New York on a fashion internship, and tak [...]

    3. Loved the bond between Caitlin and Adrian! There wasn't a lot of action in a lot of this, but there is this strange dream thing going on with Caitlin that I had to know more about! The book really picks up towards the end, and now I don't even know what just happened! Book 3 soon, please???? Full review on my blog literarydust.wordpress/20

    4. I was pretty dissatisfied that the first book didn't give me any answers, so I am SUPER tempted to read book 2.

    5. I LOVED VELVET. I know there were some pretty meh and negative reviews out there but hey, I thought the book was fun. Enjoyable. Lighthearted. Cute. So yes, I want book two.

    6. I was lucky to get to beta read this book and I absolutely loved it. Caitlin has always been so much fun to me. I love her snark and her loyalty and her mild awkwardness. As for Adrian, I don't even know what to say about this boy. He's the perfect partner for Caitlin's banter and the two of them together are delightful. I could read them forever. This installment is not your normal second book in a series. There are a lot of things going on and while we get some answers, there's a lot still to [...]

    7. I'm not going to rate this one again, since I did with the first read. Just know that it's still 5 stars and I love it even more than I did the first time.

We hosted Adrian and Caitlin for an exclusive Cashmere-spoiler-free Q&A session, and it was a ton of fun!*Disclaimer: An e-copy of this title was provided by the author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. 9. The best. The freakin' best. Cait and Adrian are great by themselves; even better together. And chapter 22, my God, YA take note on how to be sex positive well making it super funny in the best kind of awkward way.I mean, c'mon;"Holy shit.""What?" He asked, covering himself up on reflex."No!" I said, blushing. "I'm sorry, no, it's beautiful! I've just never seen one up close before." "It'sautiful?""No! I means? I don't know. It's's there. On you. Right there."I pointed at his nether region. He tu [...]

    10. I received this E-ARC via Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Wow this book surprised me. I did not expect it to be that good! There was a point where I was contemplating dropping the series. While I enjoyed the first book I realized that not a lot had happened. And the publication date for this book kept on getting pushed back. I was losing patience. I saw this on Netgalley and decided to give it a go anyways. There had to have been a reason why I enjoyed the first book [...]

    11. Oh my gosh, I need this book to hurry up! I'm dying to read it, I think I've read the first atleast 10 times waiting for it!

    12. I adored everything about Velvet. Yes, it had some less than impressive reviews, but mine was a glowing review, and I can't wait to give another one to Cashmere! Now, WHEN DO WE GET TO READ YOU?!

    13. I received this book from the publisher, via Netgalley, in exchange for a voluntary and honest review. I was in no way compensated for this review. There’s nothing I love more than being able to read part of a series back to back…well, binging a series is also fun too, same concept, but more finality to it that way! Regardless, I couldn’t bring myself to wait another year to start Temple West’s Velvet trilogy and after finding that I really enjoyed that one I immediately went to book two, [...]

    15. I have a confession to make. I actually liked Twilight when I read it. I read only the first book, and I liked it because I had never read anything like it ever before. That was quite a few years back, and my reading tastes have changed, I've become a harsher critic. When I reread Divergent I don't like it as much as I did when I first read it (I still love it, though). As for Velvet and Cashmere by Temple West, its a finer, refined, well written Twilight. Velvet starts off the same way(new girl [...]

    16. First off let me say that I loved Velvet and it was a favorite of mine. It also was one of the rare books I picked up to reread parts of which doesn't happen very often for me. So when I say I was so extremely excited for Cashmere I want everyone to fully understand. Cashmere did not disappoint me at all! I was giggling and smiling pretty much the whole time. And I think that's one of the many reasons why I adore this series so much. It has so many adorable amazing moments and characters that yo [...]

    17. I received an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review, none of my thoughts have been changed by this.Okay so, I read Velvet in like two days and within those two days, the story COMPLETELY hooked me. I love the concept of fake dating and vampire and demons and all the fun stuff. Now, normally I don't really do paranormals, they're just not my cup of tea but West's story has got me.Upon finishing Velvet, I was lucky enough to have an eARC of it immediately went onto Cashmere. Cashmere [...]

    18. I fell in love with Velvet instantly, naturally I'd been excited for Cashmere. I was grandly rewarded. Temple West continued to provide lots of humor in her story but it did grow darker - and I'm having a hard time imagining much humor in the final book but confident she'll continue to give us a mix of humor, geekiness, drama, and of course love. Man I hope there is a happy ending for most of the characters, a few others will hopefully get "what's coming to them".I gave Velvet 5 stars and I'm gi [...]

    19. This was a good follow up to Cashmere. There's new characters this time, and a revelation about an old one that what pretty major.I love Kalare, she is definitly my fav of the vampires. Sabine is a bitch. Julien is much more involved in this book then the last. There was less Adrian in this one :( The prom dance scene and the Harry Potter references are awesome! In Cashmere, school's out and while trying to find Lucian, Caitlin tries to figure out why Tommie was after her in the first place. With [...]

    20. This is the 2nd book of a trilogy. I really liked this book. Adrian's and Caitlin's relationship gets closer and trying to find info on different things of the vampire world. Adrian is a vampire and Caitlin finds out things he didn't know and the investigate. Meanwhile Caitlin finds out the truth between her mom and Aunt. Also Caitlin gets accepted for an internship for a fashion company and runs into obstacles there as well. I can not wait for the next book to come out.

    21. *I RECEIVED A FREE ARC FROM NETGALLEY IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW*AAAAAHH I AM SO DAMN HAPPY I READ THIS!!!! I read book 1 last year and it ended up being number 10 on my top ten books of 2016! Ever since i've been waiting and waiting to read this book and suddenly a few days ago i saw someone update their status to currently reading on my news feed and i was like WHAT. IT'S NOT EVEN OUT YET!!! So i went straight to stalk the page of the book trying to find a way to get an ARC. Then an am [...]

    22. This review (and others) can be seen in all its properly formatted glory on my blog Beauty and the Bookshelf. After reading Velvet, there was one thing I so desperately wanted: the freaking sequel. The utter and pure enjoyment that came from reading Velvet and its vampy fun had me in a fantastic, giddy mood and wanting more. So imagine my reaction when (months later, boo hoo) the eARC of Cashmere was available as "Read Now" on NetGalley. You can bet your fangs I downloaded it faster than you can [...]

    23. I finished the first book in the series, Velvet, a while ago. I loved it so much, the snarky witty banter, the fashion, the nerdyness and all the cute so you can imagine that the wait for Cashmere was almost unbearable. I was on all social media sites on the look out for this book and then Temple finally announced the second book in the series and here we are 2017 and it's finally released.I was so excited for this and of course made the purchase as soon as I was able but then I put off reading [...]

    24. The second installment in the Velvet Trilogy, Cashmere continues off from where Velvet ended. Caitlin and Adrian are secretly in love, and if anybody else in the vampire community finds out, they could both be put to death. While going to high school and to an internship at a major fashion company, Caitlin is trying to figure out what she is, why she is being hunted and how to save herself, Adrian and Adrian's brother. There is a surprisingly large concentration on fashion and fashion design in [...]

    25. Actual Rating: 3.5 Stars!Same Review Also Posted In My Blog: Dreamy Addictions*I received an ecopy from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*I have mixed feelings on this book because despite enjoying it, I wasn't fully satisfied with the story. I loved the first book in this trilogy but I was little bit disappointed with its sequel because the story mostly focused on the Caitlin's fashion internship in New York and less on the whole vampire drama. It seemed more like Pro [...]
