    1. I am very excited to give this book a huge thumbs up. This is an awesome book about a girl named Madison McKinsey who delivers newspapers from a golf cart in a gated community. One day while delivering the paper to a certain box she encounters something strange and magical and she travels through time to a place under the sea. She meets Landon Cayne and goes on these wonderful fun and exciting adventures through the sea. Landon is on a quest and she teams up to help him with something extremely [...]

    2. Taylor Lakke clearly has a love for the ocean and it shows as she takes us on a journey through the sea! Masked by a sweet love story, we are reminded of the battle of our oceans and lakes. Landon and Madison are such a sweet couple! I can't wait to see what they can accomplish together in books to come!

    3. A great combination of strange paranormal activity with love and romance. It is a love story between Madison and Landon and their adventures in the sea. Couldn't put the book down. Fantastic book!

    4. This was a very cool story. Landon takes Madison on many exciting and adventure filled journeys deep in the seas. They go to some awesome places. You definitely feel like you are there with them. Landon carries the torch for his mother in trying to save the sea and Madison joins him in his huge quest. I liked the Sea Ray boat adventures since I have driven one it got me excited because I love boating. I liked all the different fish. I really liked this story. Mermaids are not usually my thing but [...]

    5. Do you love the ocean? Love the colorful fish, diverse plant life and mermaids? Oh yes, I said mermaids. In A Heart for the Ocean, author Taylor Lakke incorporates all of these elements and more. While on her daily paper route, Madison McKinsey delivers to a new neighbor and is transported to an eden-like place . She soon meets Landon, the teenage neighbor of the house, who explains that the place is called Serenity by the Sea and most humans are unaware of the place. The two begin a relationship [...]

    7. I want to make clear that I really wanted to like this book as the idea behind it sounds fantastic. Sadly though this book just doesn't do it for me. The flow in the story just isn't there, it goes in to little descriptions that are not needed like for instance we really don't need to know how many text Mges (unless important to the story) the lead character gets??? I also don't connect with the main characters as a couple or separate which is very rare for me. Ummm and the whole getting excited [...]

    8. Very hard to finish, the story line was good but trying to follow the writing was difficult. It was all over the place.

    9. I went in to the book with an open mind. Even though some scenes were just too detailed I was enjoying the story. That was until there was so much contradictions, grammatical errors and unexplained situations that I said enough was enough. I have done something I thought I wouldn't do and that was put this down for good and call a DNF. A thorough edit with structure changes could bring amazing light to a story with so much potential. Until than, it's time for me to move on to another book.
