    1. 3.5 StarsDouble dealing is a very sweet story, and a good plot i could say as i never guessed till at the end when was revealed. The book begins when Jed tries to sneak into Barkeley estate to speak with Merriman Barkeley the owner, to convince him to go thru with the deal to sell the estate to the company he works for. But he is in for a surprise when instead of him he finds his childhood friend Rae, Marrimam's niece and the new owner of the estate. When Rae turns down his offer to sell and Jed [...]

    2. Double Dealing by Linda CajioSource: NetgalleyRating: 3½/5 starsFor Jed Waters, acquiring the perfect property for the right price is critical to career survival. For years the job has been easy, negotiate the best possible price for his boss and the company, deal with virtual strangers and, don’t feel too bad about it all if the seller gets the short end of the deal. Business is business after all and being vice president of a major property development firm often requires less than stellar [...]

Once approved though I pulled it up on and noticed one tiny detail that had me start to doubt. First published in 1987Needless to say I became less enthusiastic. 5. Thank you to Linda Cajio and Random House Books for the copy of this book for review.Double Dealing was a cute and fun read. Both Rachel and Jed meet again after not seeing each other since their youth. He wants to buy her house and land to develop for real estate condominiums and she does not want to sell it. Their spark ignites and their connection cannot be denied. This book brought up a very interesting debate how do you prefer your book boyfriends facial hair? I have to say that I prefer a s [...]

    6. This ARC was provided by Mass Market Paperback Publishing via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This was a incredibly sweet, funny and entertaining romance. The main characters knew each other during their childhood as Jed was the son of the gardener for Rae's family home. Eventually the pair are broken up and due to certain circumstances don't reconnect until adults. By this time Jed and Rae are both stubborn and independent individuals. Jed works for a land developing company that is [...]

    10. In Double Dealing by Linda Cajio, Jed Waters, vice president of Atlantic Developers, is committing something that he knows is not proper for someone in his station. He is breaking and entering into Barkeley estate, although technically speaking jumping the fence is not breaking anything. But he needs to speak to Merry to continue with the sale.Rachel Barkeley has always loved her uncle’s estate. It’s not only a beautiful old place with lots in need of repair, it’s also part of her family [...]

    11. This book was interesting and of course romance is in play. Jed and Rachel grew up together. Jed is the son of the gardener and has done quite well for himself. Rachel is born from money and in this read does not act like it. She is sweet and kind and has three nephews she adores. Rachel's grandfather left her in a mess with his estate and come back in contact with Jed after not seeing him since they were kids. Rachel does fight her feelings and of course, in turn, so does Jed. This is a fast ro [...]

    12. 13. Cute, light read. I enjoyed Jed and Rae. Not enough steam for me and it is a reprint but the story kept me interested. Good "in between" read! ARC provided by NetGalley
